I was just like you, feeling stressed, exhausted and struggling to keep up with all of my responsibilities.
I was on the verge of a burnout when I lost all of my hair at the age of 23, while in medical school. By my graduation day, I was stressed out, overwhelmed and on the verge of burnout, unsure what to do next.
It took me years to find my own path and focus on feeling well again. I struggled to prioritize myself. There were a lot of external pressures to continue living a busy stressful lifestyle as a resident doctor and then as a new doctor building her career.
But once I realized that my biggest roadblock was myself, things started to shift. I got out of my own way and trusted what my body and my intuition were telling me.
Over time I developed my own toolbox of strategies that helped me manage my stress and allowed me to thrive.
What I’ve learned has allowed me to keep thriving, even as my responsibilities, including becoming a mom of three little ones, have increased over time.
